Earth Heart Farm Gallery

At one time Earth Heart Farm built in 1780 was the first homestead in the area sitting on over 300 acres of land. It has seen many farming lives; as a milk farm, horse farm, livestock farm and now today we continue its farming traditions as a modest herb farm.
Though it no longer sits on 300 acres the area has maintained its rural appeal still surrounded by horse farms and powerful old pines. The wide pine floors and hand cut beams are a testament to the hard work and craftsmanship that went into the home and the large barn that is attached.
The main part of the home is built around a center place chimney that has three fireplaces; this was the main source of heat. The center chimney allowed for the heat to be maintained in the main part of the house, today we added a wood stove to the fireplace and continue using it as our main heat source.
Here we share some more views of the home and grounds so you can begin to feel the heart of Earth Heart Farm…

Welcome To The Yurt!
Earth Heart Farm is uniquely located in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire at the foothills of the great White Mountains; the area is quite beautiful with many points of interest within a short distance of the Farm. Silver Lake and Lake Winnisquam are a short walk from the grounds of Earth Heart Farm and the grand Lake Winnipesaukee is just a 5 min. car ride away.
Lake Winnipesaukee is a well-known resort destination for many New Englanders who choose to enjoy the great beauty the lakes region has to offer. Summers are spent on the lakes and winters on the mountains. Further north you can visit The Basin, which is a marvel of granite rocks smoothed by the flow of rivers and streams to create pools and tubs of all shapes and sizes. The Flume is a slot canyon of sorts where you can also see the wonder of how water shapes our landscape. The Kancamagus Hwy is listed as one of the top scenic drives in the country and attracts many fall leaf peepers to soak in the views. Then of course there are the White Mountains including the well-known Mt. Washington, home to the strongest winds ever recorded, and the presidential range for views second to none.
