When we connect with ourselves it is easy to sit in circle and connect with others, then we know the vision of oneness, community, and harmony. This vision is at the heart of the work we believe can help anyone, who is willing, to find his or her path of light.

It is to this vision that we dreamed of Earth Heart Farm, a sanctuary of sacred teachings, ceremonies and treatments to be shared with all. We are honored to put our energy in bringing the gifts of Pachamama (Mother Earth) to others so they may find the unique teachings hidden in their own heart.”

Earth Heart Farm is a circa 1780 post and beam cape which has maintained its historic features and rustic simplicity for more than 220 years. Sitting quietly across from a rolling pastured Horse Farm in Belmont NH, the 100’ White Pines stand as sentinels to the earth honoring teachings and healing work that Joyce Kendall and Jeff Mahadeen have dreamed into being. Within the grounds the 220-year-old barn reminds us of a simpler way of living, just being in that atmosphere helps us to open up and receive the heart lessons of our mother earth. Walking the 5 acres of field, woodland and gardens helps whittle away stress, worries and ill ease. It is in this environment that the dreams of those who arrive to study, learn and receive healing treatments starts to take form or come more clearly into focus.

Earth Heart Farm is home of Energy Expressions; an offering of Polarity, Yoga, Herbal and Shamanic Therapies, and the Muscular Wellness Institute, offering personal treatments as well as ongoing study in various aspects of Massage. Both Joyce and Jeff offer personalized treatments as well as workshops and certification programs in various fields of spiritual and bodywork healing arts.

Recognizing that there are so many areas in which the seeds of self-awareness and spiritual growth can be sown, Earth Heart Farm is dedicated to opening its doors to other teachers across a wide variety of areas that aid in spiritual growth. From other bodywork teachers, to North & South American indigenous wisdom keepers, to internationally known speakers and presenters, Earth Heart Farm seeks to keep their programs rich and diverse.

To the Shaman of South America walking in the path of light, the path of your own true heart is walking the path of the shaman. This new path is one of earth honoring and the knowledge of our inter-connectedness with all living beings, including the rocks, plants and animals of Pachamama. From this place we learn the ease of healing ourselves and others. The lessons of the wise elders can be learned in many forms; the study of plant spirit medicine, the art of healing touch in the forms of massage, and energy based bodywork, through shamanic and yoga practices and traditions, and other healing arts.

We have also seen how visiting with and learning directly from indigenous cultures has changed many peoples’ abilities to see themselves as part of this new vision and as strong advocates for Pachamama. To this end we have formed Earth Heart Expeditions offering transformational shamanic journeys to visit with the elders in South America. The deep personal connections we have formed with many indigenous shaman, aids us in hosting these powerful teachers and healers to also share their work here, in the home of the Eagle People of North America.

We were previously living in Bloomfield, NJ a suburb of NYC and felt the pull to move to a simpler and quieter way of living where we might realize our dream of building a community where knowledge would be shared for the benefit of all. New Hampshire was not really an area we thought of moving to although we were familiar with the beauty of the mountains and lakes from having vacationed here in the past. Somehow our guiding spirits knew it was the right place for us and we found ourselves making a big move to a new state and a new way of life. We were pleasantly surprised to find that it seems like we arrived right on schedule. The area seemed ready to embrace the teachings we offered with the sense that the people here had been waiting for a gathering place to learn about community again.

The farm we found in Belmont was perfect for what we had in mind, that along with our center in Concord make it easy for most folks to find us and participate in some of the wonderful programs that we sponsor. As we entered the community we found that there was a lot of excitement and growth in areas of spirituality and community building. We knew, as we explored our new home, that our guides had done well by us and that here we had found a nurturing atmosphere where we would be able to foster the spirit of change, the spirit of finding the path of light for us all.
